Tier 1 · Phone Setup
$149
For a parent who just wants an AI helper they can talk to.

- Hands-on practice — we sit with them until they're comfortable using it on their own
- Help getting their Claude or ChatGPT subscription set up (~$20/month, paid to Anthropic / OpenAI)
- ~1-hour visit, in plain language
- One-page cheat sheet left at the house

Tier 2 · Home Assistant
$349
For a household that wants a real always-on agent.
What you get
- Everything in Tier 1
- An always-on AI agent on a household laptop
- Proactive reminders (pills, appointments) sent to their phone
- Family contacts and schedule pre-loaded
- ~2-hour visit + email follow-up window

- A spare laptop you're OK with us reformatting (we'll confirm specs by email)
- Discord installed on the phone (we set it up if needed)
AI subscription (~$20/month) not included — paid directly to Anthropic or OpenAI. We reply to every email the same day.

Common questions
Which tier should I pick?
Phone Setup ($149) — start here if your parent (or you) just wants to talk to ChatGPT or Claude on a phone. Voice mode, walked through, easy. This is the right fit for most people who've never used an AI helper.
Home Assistant ($349) — pick this if you want a proactive helper that pings reminders on its own, knows the family schedule, and works across the household. Requires a spare laptop we can wipe. Best for families.

What is the AI helper, exactly?
A friendly voice/text assistant on their phone. It can answer questions, set reminders, help write a quick message, look things up. Like a more capable version of the voice assistants they may already know — set up properly so it actually works on day one.
What if they say they don't want it?
Most people don't think they'd use one until they have it. The first time it reminds them about an appointment, or reads them the weather without them squinting at a tiny screen, the resistance fades quickly. We can also start small and only set up the few things they actually ask for.
What gets wiped from the laptop? (Tier 2 only)
Only Tier 2 (Home Assistant) needs a laptop. We reformat it as part of the setup, so back up photos, documents, and anything important first — if you're not sure how, we'll walk you through it before the visit. The phone is untouched except for installing one app.
Will this work on a flip phone?
No. Both tiers need a smartphone. Most iPhones and Android phones from the last several years are fine.
Why does it need a paid AI subscription?
The helper's "brain" is Claude (from Anthropic) or ChatGPT (from OpenAI). Either one works — both cost about $20 a month. That fee goes directly to Anthropic or OpenAI, not to us. If you don't already have a subscription, we'll set one up during the visit.
Can I use the free tier instead?
Technically yes — both Claude and ChatGPT have free tiers — but the free limits are tight. Your parent will run into "come back later" messages mid-conversation. For a helper they'll actually rely on day to day, we recommend Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus (~$20/month).
Can I gift this to my parents?
Yes — that's how most of our visits get booked. Email us with their household address and we'll coordinate.
